I just picked this saw up for my niece because it has a chain brake. It runs nice but I'm going to rebuild the carb and new hoses but the bar oil selector is missing, does anyone have one or know if I can bypass it?

It's been a long time for me on those but pretty sure I bypassed some of them back in the 90's.

I have three of them all classic 200 and I think I may have a oil selector valve somewhere.. I will look for you and let you know. As for bypassing the valve, you can bypass the valve but it WILL OVER OIL for sure.. Not such a bad thing but it does make a real mess in the saw itself.

Thanks, I appreciate your help with the oiler. I'm going to have to check the routing that was on it because it doesn't appear to be oiling at all at the moment.

I found the oil valve but it is missing the little disc inside that regulates the flow... The disc has a graduated hole from small to large where the oil passes through and that is what regulates the flow. I will look some more and see if I have any others... If you need help with the line routing LMK I can take a picture of one of mine for you.

Oh I see the fuel primer bulb is gone... I have fixed many of those.. you can replace the bulb.. Not real easy but it can be done. I had to do all three of mine and have done others as well. Buying a new bulb is a lot cheaper than buying a new primer fuel cap at $30.00

I was able fix the primer bulb but will need the oiler. Thank you again for checking.
