I never seen one before so I picked it up. I really like this one.

I've always wondered about the full wrap design---- Would make a ground level cut off impossible. It always seems to me that a 1/2 wrap is much more versatile to use.

I've often wondered about all the hype over the full wrap myself.I've got a friend over on AS who's from New Zealand & he wanted to know if I could get a full wrap handle for one of his Macs.I said sure, the handle shipped to my door was $45,then another $30 to ship to N.Z.When he got it you'd have sworn I gave him my firstborn.Personally I'd rather have a 1/2 or 3/4 wrap.

I use it to fall from either side of the tree. If I have the option to not stand under some dead limbs or away from the leaning side then I will take that option. I guess you don't really need it to fall from either side but it sure does make it easier.

You can get a few more hand positions with them.

Having never used a full wrap bar like this, I'm curious about them. Do you switch hands going to the right side of the bar? Do you ever use the top of the bar to cut? I am interested in how they are best used. Appreciate any insights from experienced users!!

If you have the dexterity to go switch hitter it definitely helps. I recently helped a neighbour with a large lodged maple. Tricky job for an amateur but having a full wrap made it a bit safer and easier. As mentioned it helped to be able to avoid large dead limbs that would be directly over your head.
They just look cool too!

I'd imagine the clutch covers always look good on them too!
