8 Digit XL-12 SN with T in the middle, decode help, please

I bought a Homelite XL-12 that wouldn't idle right(stalled when tipped) from a guy who gave up on it. After taking it home I noticed the linkage was bent where the idle screw should touch it so I straightened it out, gave it a proper tuneup and it's a runner.

Now what is it? Terry saw, made in Quebec, 8 digit SN with a T in the middle.... but I'd like to know the year.
