Getting my xl2 up and going. Combined 2 into 1. Minor problem is there is a very little white death on it. I wire brushed using my drill and was able to expose “clean” magnesium. Because of this I want to paint the saw. Before that happens I need to do a little body work on the former white death. Can anyone recommend a product (bondo?) that will accep primer, paint, and clear? TIA jerry

Bondo by 3M Metal Reinforcement Filler www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40067480/. I have not used it on a saw yet but my folks used it religiously in their restoration business. you will want to either bead blast or sand blast the effected area(s) or use evapo-rust evapo-rust.com/.
