Hello everyone! I just recently acquired a late production XL-100 saw and I've been going over itand the governor system has naturally been tampered with and I'm missing a few parts. I've searched on here and the best I can come up with is that this saw uses the XL-120 governor as per the service manual. It is also similar to the brush cutter. I've checked out the IPL's and I'm kinda lost on what I'm missing and I know this is not hooked up right. Brandon photos.app.goo.gl/RuZaFYTAyXvtfdN49photos.app.goo.gl/p2b9jgva937sc8GD8

I believe these are the missing pieces but there are 2 holes in the side of the case next to the adjustment screws which I don't know if these are right considering the holes in the case photos.app.goo.gl/qtxJzrpaCgpZrt147

Correct, the governor has no actual way of working with the standard xl12 throttle wire. I believe the governor system on this is slightly different than the XL-120 model due to the holes in the side of the case. There are no good pictures on the web for me to compare it to so I'm kinda lost here. I believe that this is what is supposed to look like. photos.app.goo.gl/6u2Q8M3MqVgn7oJF8

Awesome, thank you! In the schematic I provided in the highlighted area, I believe there is supposed to be a retaining clip held in by 2 screws on the side of the housing, otherwise the setup should just about be the same
