I know this has probably been talked about, but I just want to beat the dead horse a little more & see if I used the coding correctly?
Ut# Super ez Ser # 40314116 Nov 10 1980 or 1970? Its the 2 tone red/white with chrome.

Its the 2 tone red/white with chrome. SN:40314116 ... Date of Manufacture: Thursday, January 31st, of 1974 But, the number of the unit built '4116' on that day makes the entire Serial number suspect.. not unusual for models built in the mid-Seventies. Often there was a separate LOT number sticker somewhere on the unit that revealed the true build date. Example below;

Dang I was off, I assume iam off on the rest of my saws aswell. Thanks for the info 5T, I do have a sticker like shown in Pic #2 on the starter cover, unfortunately the ink is long gone. Thanks for the info
