Hi All,
I have a Homelite 35SL and I’m looking for a base gasket if anyone might have one for sale.

I looked and I don't have one.
I'm a bit surprised and confused why a 35SL uses a base gasket when the 360 just uses sealant.
I keep living and learning.

The 35SL has the came cylinder and crankcase as a late 360; that gasket is likely made of unobtanium, so I'd plan on cutting your own or substituting the sealant in its place. I'm afraid in all the parts I've gone through, I've never even come across that one!
One guy you could try is scotts88 on Ebay...he sells a lot of Canadian parts.

The 35SL uses the same piston and rod as a 360 as well. So by using a base gasket on the 35 evidently it would have a bit lower compression than a 360 that did not utilize a gasket. If it were mine, since it uses all the same parts as a 360, I would just silicone it.
Am I missing something here?

Nope, that's honestly what I'd do.
