What size bar is this for?
Yes is low profile chain

X2 on what size bar. 37 links would be a very small bar.
If you do actually need 37 links, I’d look for a local saw shop. They should have bulk chain and can make you any length you need in just a few minutes. I’d grab two to be safe. If you don’t have any in your area, I believe bailey’s (baileysonline.com) makes and ships custom length chains.

Not sure how to measure the bar but from the front of the plastic case it extends maybe 10”. Very tiny saw!

The ones that contact the wheel in the back. I will post a pic on my saw in a minute so you guys can admire.

Here’s my XL 360 too. Here’s my 360 compared to my newest addition, the XLW. It’s laughable almost.

I wasn't aware that an 8" bar was ever an option on the XL. 10" was the shortest that I've ever seen. Could the 8" bar have come from an electric saw?
Edit: Just answered my own question. The 1979 chainsaw propaganda pamphlet lists an 8" XEL model.
