Morning guys,
I had one of those mornings where I was up at 3 and tinkering in the garage. I was messing with the CS50 and realized it’s the only .325 saw I have. So, I looked around online for a 3/8 replacement clutch drum.
I didn’t see anything specifically for the cs50 or cs40 (I’m assuming they are the same), so decided to take a few other saws apart and see if anything fit. I tried an SXL, 360, and a couple of Poulans. I didn’t try any of the Mac 10 series or the Super EZAO.
Instead I thought I would ask here and see if anyone knows of a swap from another saw or a part number or anything that with give me 3/8 sprocket for that saw. It isnt a big deal, I think I just want to keep them all the same at 3/8 -.050. Not to mention bar options are a little better and cheaper for a 3/8. Not much, but at least I can easy get them around here.
If anyone has some suggestions or known swaps that works, please let me know.
Thanks
Jay

I missed that one. Thank you. I’m reaching out to the eBay seller close by and also see if they have the rim and a fresh bearing.
