Yeah, that does sound a little on the lean side.I usually have the hi set at around 1 - 1 1/4 turns out at just under 1000 ft.I might try swapping the needles to see if they'll work.I'll also have to take a look at the linkage hook ups to see if they're compatible too.

Just seems to be on the governed carbs I have to run that lean any other saw is right around 1 turn , most of my wood cutting is in western Alberta over 3500'

I gave VE Petersen a call this morning & I guess I got lucky as I got the last HS132A they had for $35.I'l see how that works out.The last carb I got from them was useless,it wouldn't hpld any pressure

I got the carb from Petersen's today & it won't hold any pressure either.I ended up putting the HS125A on it & it runs great!Only problem is the choke lever won't fit on & I can't swap out choke assemblies.I could attach a wire to it & make it look half fast.

Before Leon fixed the HS132A carb for the saw I put an HS125A on it just to get it running.Well I haven't gotten around to putting the 132 carb back on it yet,but I took the saw out cutting today & I was impressed even though the chain wasa half dull.I put a new duck bill in the fuel cap & forgot about putting one in the oil cap. It'll oil when the tank is full, but when it gets down to about half full it won't oil manually.I don't think the auto oiler is working either.Good thing I was cutting green wood.
