hello i have a question for you guys i have a xl925 that i am working on i rebuilt the carb and it holds 10 pounds and the needle does not drop at all so i put it on and it fired up tuned the carb and it ran nice but then i went to start it and it flooded out where there is gas coming out of the carb and into the carb area .... this happened on another carb i rebuilt so i tried this other one ( both carbs held pressure ) could it be the reed valves i took them out and cleaned them i thought they looked ok no chips etc any input would be appreciated thanks

Could also be the governor.

is there a way to block off the governor ? or would it still flood
