I've come across a couple more oddities in my chain collection.I've got a 370 & a 378 on the DL.I looked on Classec's chart that he supplied here back some time ago & I found a PM370 which is a Mac chain, but my chain just has the numbers on it,no lettering.I put my calipers on the DL & it measured .050.The 378 chain I haven't measured yet.

Ed, I believe you are correct on them being McCulloch chains. Here is a chart I found. Drive link codes-1 by Clasec, on Flickr

Charles,I saw that list & as I said in my post I don't have the letters in front of the 370.Also,what about the 378?

Ed, further down the McCulloch list it shows SPR378. If you could measure the driver and see if it is .058 like the listing shows. Probably not enough room on the driver for the letters to be included. Just a guess.

OK Charles, that makes sense now.I was trying to figure out how I got the 378 chain & then I read somewhere a while ago that the Mac 10-10 came with either an .050 or .058 gauge chain,it was an option.
