i have an homelite chain saw hbcs3530 unable to release brake chain saw is new please help

I'm afraid that saw is much newer than what we deal with here. The brake should release by pulling the brake handle back towards you. If it doesn't, I'd return it the store you purchased it from and get a replacement. Homelite does not have servicing dealers anymore.
