Hey group, I'm having a problem with the HL carb on my C-9, it's not pulling fuel and I have a air bubble in the line just before the inlet. I've rebuilt the carb w/ a OEM kit after it was cleaned and new fuel lines both in and outside the tank. I pressure tested it and it holds 7-8lbs air for a long time. Any ideas? It runs but will eventually sputter out. I tested the carb in a bowl of water and the 1st attempt it was leaking from the minute holes in the throat of the carb so I cleaned the needle and seat.

My C-51 also seems to have an air bubble that is visible in the hose at the inlet barb. I’ve never figured out why so I’m interested to hear if it is normal? I can’t say that I have noticed it on other saws. I’ve tried pinching the line to remove it but it seems to reappear during idle.
This unfortunate isn’t helpful for your questions......
