This video is pretty long as I end up backtracking at one point, but if you get tired of my mumbo-jumbo you can skip to the end to see what the problem ends up being. I figured everyone here would be interested:

Thank you Leon. BTW, after going MIA a kind soul contacted Leon and said he had my saw. There are good people in the world. Thank you, you know who you are. Best regards Dan

Thank you Leon. BTW, after going MIA a kind soul contacted Leon and said he had my saw. There are good people in the world. Thank you, you know who you are. Best regards Dan On a side note, sometimes it is not just the saw that makes it worth collecting, it is what the previous owner did to protect his investment. This "casket" was made like a piece of furniture, holding everything you need to head to the woods, and the ingenious use of materials is something being lost today. I don't know if you will see everything but here is the rundown- extra bar and chain red measuring stick ax holder a spot for wedges gas can oil leather straps for screwdrivers, etc. Original owners manual At over 4' wide, it is too much for this old buck to handle himself, it weighs a ton. Again, a replacement saw just would not have been the same in this crate. Would anyone know other than me, doubtful, but I am sure you all know what I mean. Dan

I hope we don't have to repeat that adventure ever again!
