I still have a good collection of Homelite chain saw parts, bars etc Due to so much cold weather this winter, I am unable to get to shop to check what I have. Also having a problem getting to the post office to mail packages. Hoping I will be able to do little more when the warmer weather gets here. cainsawlady

To make your life a bit easier you can mail your packages from your house,I do it all the time. You don't need a scales or anything to weigh the packages, you just need a good mail carrier who is willing to work with you. That will save you many unpleasant trips in inclement weather.

hello mrs wilson i am glad everythings ok i do need some parts but will wait till weather gets better to send you a list That might be O.K. with your mail carrier, but my carrier won't pick up a package on the route. We can't buy stamps on the route and have to go to post office. They aren't much better at the post office. I usually take my packages to post offices away from my territory.chainsawlady

Wow Joyce,I'm sorry to hear of the poor service you have.Back when I was carrying the mail the rural carrier was known as the "post office on wheels".It's part of their job description to pick up packages from the customer & sell stamps. We carried $100 worth of stamps at the beginning of each day & at times the folks at the end of the route wouldn't get their stamps till the next day because I ran out.We even delivered what was called "box holders" where everyone on the route got the piece of mail from the Post Office advertising our services as a rural carrier. The carrier is only cutting their own salary by not providing those services. It's a very complicated formula that's used in determining their salary.
