I disassembled my 102 and found that it has a really thick rubber oil line that wraps around the engine. Id say bad idea but its been there for about 50 years. What material is a good idea for replacing the line?

Im guessing it was an oil line. Looking at the ipl i don't know. I took it apart in limited time and wasntt as carful as normal.
