I have been restoring an old XL 923 and I can’t get it to run. Plenty of spark. Most likely a fuel problem as I have sprayed fuel straight into the intake and it starts first pull but then dies after a few seconds.
Pretty sure it is the fuel pipe. Just looking for some photos or a video of how to correctly remove the pipe or some instructions on how to get it out correctly. Let me know what you think!!!!!

Posting the question in one thread is plenty, all three show up as new leading people to think there are three questions and the answers from three threads will be spread out all over when someone else searches for the information later. Please post in only one thread per question. Thanks.

I had the same problem. It was the rubber fuel line into the tank which had become a gelatinous mess, probably from ethanol. Got a new one, it was a real booger to get the attached grommet into the hole. Now it runs great.
