Hello everyone, Well if your like me and restore a lot of chainsaws or just getting into restoring them then you will find that one of the most difficult items to save/keep or find new is the UT/Serial # Tag or decal which ever you prefer. After searching countless numbers of websites for these decals, finding the decals but without the proper numbers on them or the people offering the decal are unable or unwilling to actually put the numbers on the decal from your saw. I finally found one !! and they are very willing and able to help you with just about anything. Here is a picture of my old UT/Serial decal that is in rough shape > UT_Serial_Decal_Old by Darryl Scarz, on Flickr Here is what the new UT/Serial decal looks like >>>>>>>>>>>> UT_Serial_Decal_New by Darryl Scarz, on Flickr So if you are doing a restore and need a new UT/Serial Decal or just want to replace the old one that is no longer readable the information is below. GO TO > www.clickitandstickit.com/products.php?product=Homelite-Chainsaw-UT-%7B47%7D-Serial-Number-Decal&showHidden=true (Vintage Reproductions) Then add the amount of decals you want to your shopping cart. Then proceed to checkout and fill in your info Etc. When you reach STEP 4 (Order Conformation) at the bottom of the page on the left hand side you will see a ( ORDER INSTRUCTIONS/COMMENTS BOX ) This is where you will type in your UT# and Serial# to be printed on the decal. The fella I have been dealing with there at Vintage reproductions is Nate... A really nice guy and like I said very willing and able to help with what ever decal you may need. I hope this helps !! HH

I agree.. and I have ordered many new decals for my saw collection.. What surprises me is that Homelite switched from using the metal serial plate to these decals, I guess trying to save in building cost.

FYI, reached out to Nate, and he informed me that they no longer print the serial number on the decal. Anyone know someone else that will?

Their site says they do (for an upcharge), when viewing the Homie tag.
I have worked with Nate for over a decade now, and they are very accommodating.
