So how can I tell if the saw I'm about to buy is a 1130G or super 1130G? This saw has a Tillotson HL-294A 503 on it. I'd like to get the proper decals from SCS. Thanks, Al D.

Not sure about the carb... only reference I have shows an HL-261. Maybe someone else will recognize the 294. Pretty sure "Supers" could come with either an HL or the non-adjustable hi SDC. The only sure-fire difference I know is that the supers all used the metal thrust washers on the piston wrist pin where the non-supers had the fiber bushings on the con rod at the crank end. Unfortunately that means tearing it down to find out.

3100G are 115cc Holy Grail class saws. Pay the man and bring it home.

Studied the pictures and IPLs, sampled the grease flavor... see a SUPER 1130-G , built before August 1976 . I'm looking for the proper decals on SCS now. I'm hoping this 1130G has the arrowhead decal vs the super xp1130G. Got the saw and the P&C are great and it has spark so I'm going to go through it and see what it needs. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm definitely going to redo the paint because he painted over the cracked old stuff. 50" bar and chain with a helper handle too. According to Acres this is the saw per the carb #294A

Mine wears a 48" 404 bar driven with 8 tooth rim drive. That's the way it was when I purchased it. No need for a helper on that length bar as it limits your cutting depth and it can be handled with one.(Not saying it is easy.) If you had a 60" bar it might be a different story, then again I've watched someone wheel around a 8' perchbelly Cannon on his 090G at a local GTG. He was more manly than I....

This appears to be the only issue with the saw, damaged reed and solid fuel lines. I got the rings installed and a quick once over and she fired on prime so I ordered reeds from Leon and I'll make new case gaskets.
