Good morning all, new member here. I recently found a Homelite 150 automatic (build date 7/17/1981) that looks great cosmetically. It had some old fuel in the tank that didn't smell too bad. I dumped the old fuel and put some fresh fuel in, however, no spark. Does this saw have points and condenser or electronic ignition? What would be my next step? Thank you.

Welcome to HOH! I honestly don't know if the saw would have electronic ignition from the factory, but a kit was available to convert it over. You'll need to pull the engine out and see what you have. The quickest ID will be coil color...blue is electronic, black will be points.

One thing I found was the plug cap on several of mine had become disconnected from the coil wire. pain but can pull out of cap and inspect. This site has some great help aids and knowledgeable homelite help.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I haven't had a chance to open it up yet. I'll check in when I do. Thanks again.
