Welcome to HOH! I know that Homelite had some RC type motors at one point, but I don't have any info on them. Hang around, perhaps someone here has some info.

Maybe some more details would be helpful. What type of rc boat and exactly what trimmer engine are you planning on using? What information are you needing?

I am looking for timing numbers for the intake, exhaust, transfer and squish.. Thanks Could you post up a pic of the engine by chance? Most homelite trimmer engines I am familiar with are piston ported, so you would be limited on what you can do as far as port modification / timing modification goes. I've never seen any published numbers for squish, I just usually measure the squish on each engine.

Not much is done with Homelite small displacement engines as far as modifications. It would have to be modified to the power band that you need in order to maintain the RPM for you application. I'm not aware of any general timing or squish specs on those engines. I have a 26.2cc XL2 chainsaw that I've done some modifications to that runs well. It's tailored to accommodate the chain load and maintain the highest chain speed possible within it's power band.

UT:62076-77-80-82 are listed as 30cc PH engines . Just guessing, but may have been the 'Prather -Homelite- Special' 30cc engines for Radio Control use .
