Will 81 drive links fit the XL101 with a 24” bar? I seem to remember that 81 drive links will fit a 24” bar on most Homelites. Can someone confirm this?
Thanks!

Perfect! Yup that helps. Thanks ! D096 Mount on your saw? If so that will work in the XL-130/76 with the s-clip. Not sure about the XL-101?

Yes on the D096 mount pattern . It's a Stern's branded bar , time will tell how it will hold up . I'm in NE Florida , so not
a lot of fire wood cutting ! We do have a wood stove for auxiliary heating that runs as much as possible . Plus the occasional
storm clean-up as well as normal tree work .

I ended up buying a 20” Archer Pro for my XL-130. It has a D176 bar mount apparently. It fits the same as D096 as far as I can tell. It’s a bit thicker though possibly. The drive cover doesn’t fit tight against the saw but it doesn’t seem to have any negative affect from what I can tell. I like it so far. I just ordered the 28” Archer for a Super XL-922 project I have on the go. I looked at the Stens bars. They looked good to me and a decent price.
I haven’t used my Archer bar much yet so I’m not sure how well it will hold up. I cut for fun mostly so Ivassume it will suit my needs. I have a pretty heavily wooded property with tons of dead fall and dead trees to play around with.
