Wow, very nice indeed. What did you do to the metal parts? The muffler looks replated? Is the bar new or did you do it too? It looks polished under the paint? Nice work.

Hey Dan, the muffler is NOS, so I cheated a bit there! The bar was painted using a stencil from Sugar Creek Supply. I prepped it using the wire wheel on my bench grinder, painted the red and then clear coated everything.

Guess I better post my XL925. I cleaned it up and Sugar Creeked the bar. It cut wood last weekend but the fuel line started to leak into the carb box and put me out of the races. (one other guy with an XL925 challenged me just in time to have mine quit.) I bought it to sell as it was cheep but wound up fixing it up a little. Nothing like your restores, they are wonderful.
