Well, condition is everything. With that being said, the last three to sell on eBay, which you probably already looked up, sold for $400.00 with free shipping (ouch), $405.00 (pretty nice condition but a short bar that looked stupid) and $271.00. Unfortunately, it's a crap shoot and it just depends on what someone is willing to spend. I can tell you this much, I've been selling vintage Homelite saws for a few years now and have never sold one on any forum including this one. Craigslist is very tough too, because you have a "specialty" saw that will cater to only a select group of people and the chances of having someone like that in your local area is fairly slim. It's still worth trying but the chances are remote. Sadly, your best option will still be eBay, despite giving up the fees. Personally I don't do auction style listings on my saws, way to risky. I put a Buy-It-Now price on it and go from there. If it doesn't sell in a couple weeks or a month (or however long your willing to wait), you can always lower it. Good luck with your sale. Cheers. Steve
ps. We would love to see it though, post some pics if you can.

Thanks guys. After I got done I decided to share it for anyone that wanted to to be able to run it. Didn't seem right to just make a shelf queen out of it. The bar is bare right now. I've thought about stenciling it to see how long the paint would last.

Do you put anything on the front of the tank to protect it while running it? Man, I'd be all kinds of worried! ps. As nice as that power head looks, a newly stenciled bar would just look killer!

No protection for it. I figure the nicks and chips it gathers will give it character. You guys have me thinking about stenciling the bar now. :-)

Just put a few more coats of clear on it for some extra protection.
