New guy here recently started collecting some old homelites that have been passed down through my family (I'm 23) and I was walking through an old True Value Hardware store/Antique Store and stumbled upon this so I had to have it! Anyone know about these? The wedge and grease gun are missing but the other items have never been used, no damage to the cardboard.
Also a few pictures of two of my saws, just picked up the XL-12 for $40 last weekend runs great!...

Cool kit! I'm pretty sure onlyhomelites here has some NIP grease guns he would sell to fill that spot. No idea where you'd get the wedge.

Nice kit! Looks like you're on your way to being a Homelite collector. Nice saws too!

Thanks guys haven't found out much about the kit other than it seemed to be a promotional offer that you got if you bought a new saw I found that in a scan of an old newspaper that had a homelite ad in the corner dated 1979 the paper inside my kit with instructions on chain replacement and sharpening is dated 1976
