Need repair and IPL manuals for Super XL s/n AO 11470428

Hey, just picked up Super XL AO. Not really sure what I got. Have a similar one and thought it could use a companion. Can anyone tell me about this saw's year, reliability and where to find service repair lo and IPL? The s/n is AO 11470428. Thx

In addition to getting a copy of the service repair and IPL manuals I would like to know how to interpret the s/n.

If I'm using the Homelite/Jacobson Tech Srvc Bulletin 185-008 correct then a Super XL AO 11470428 (model AO with 8 digit S/N) would have been mfg. in 1981 - not sure but I think the saw I have is from the early 70's based on other posts I've read and its color being "Blue". The other saw I have looks identical, its a Super XL AO 10421474.

That's a damned nice saw...from my neck of the woods too! According to that serial number, it should be a 1971. By 1972 or 1973, the saws had changed over to the red & black scheme.
