My son was given a Homelite UT10519 chainsaw (46cc, 18"). Ran well last season. This season I can get it to run only briefly.
At one point I could get it to run each time I primed it (about 5 pumps), but at that point I actually had the fuel lines re-connected backwards at the primer bulb. Like it would run until it used up the primer charge.
Now (after disassembling the carb and spraying carb cleaner through each passage-way, reconnecting primer bulb the right way), it starts up, but only for a few moments. Then acts flooded. I removed plug and it was wet.
So I'm at the point to order a carb re-build kit, and... stone wall. I called one online retailer and eventually was told that the correct kit is RB-159. But when I call Homelite, they said there is no rebuild kit. They said just buy a new carb. The carb (309364001) is about $60 plus shipping. That won't happen (especially knowing I can buy a new carb for my Poulan for $15.00!)
The carb doesn't have markings on it that relate to what I've read it should have. One side has "110" cast into the body. The other side has an ink stamp, and all that is readable appears to be "46M".
Can anyone confirm if the RB-159 kit is correct?
Thanks!

I disassembled the carb again and took some photos: www.flickr.com/photos/cocojen/sets/72157649609497098/Guess I slightly mis-remembered some of the markings on the carb. The "46M" is actually "110-46M" and is located on the cover of the fuel pump. There is also a tough-to read ink stamp on one side of the carb body that I think reads "2139". For the most part, the gasket kit seems to look like the parts from the carb. The diaphragm and gasket for the metering valve side of the carb in the kit have two extra holes on one end though, different from the existing pieces. I see that one hole would align with a hole on the carb body (which I don't know if that hole has a function). Thoughts? I can only guess (hope) that the inlet needle would be the correct replacement. Anyone? Thanks!
