Have an old red XL12 with a Tillotson carb. Carb needs to come out for new gaskets, etc. Is there any trick to pulling the fuel supply line off the carb without tearing it or breaking it? Is this fuel line replaceable? Thanks.

Get a small right angle pick and insert it between the nipple and hose and run around the diameter of the nipple to break the hose loose while pulling on the hose with a pair of needle nose pliers.
