Hello all...New to this site. Have an older blue xlao that I have started to break down for restoring. Am having some trouble with the nut that holds on the clutch drum. All my other saws use left hand threads. Haven't been able to verify that this saw is same. Ser. # 13081020. I put a rope down the plug hole and tried her clockwise but afraid to over torque for fear of snapping the crank end. Thanks.

Thanks, Tom. I sprayed a little Blaster on it earlier today. Going to heat the nut a bit with my butane torch and have at it. I'll post the outcome.

Thanks, trib. A video would be great. I'm still having trouble getting the nut to back off. I've removed many clutches over the years and this one is really tight! I'm wondering if it welded itself to the crankshaft after sitting for so many years. I'm going to heat a little and tap a little. I have a two foot breaker bar, but it shouldn't be this tight.
