Hello All; Heres my first post, hope I'm in the right section. I am currently rebuilding a Homelite KL-82 kart engine from 1960. Having trouble finding the bolt torque specs, for the connecting rod, stator plate, ect. I know this isn't a vintage kart site, but wondering if any of you chainsaw guys have any info. Any help is appeciated. Warmest Regards;Chris

This may be of interest and help KL-82 Kart engine has a 2 1/16 in bore by 1 1/2 in stroke that equals 5.01 Cu. in. A Homelite Zip-5 saw has the same size engine as do some other models in that era. Conn Rod torque for Zip-5 55-60 in lbs 8-32 thrd screws 70-80 in lbs 10-32 thrd screws Only torque specs I see in saw service info I have. If you want a copy of the saw service info send me your e-mail address and I will e-mail you a copy if you like Tom macbobaust.com/homea.htmlmacbobaust.com/homelite1.htmlmacbobaust.com/homelite.htmlmacbobaust.com/home01.html
