Great to know. I'd been pondering putting together a histogram of certain saw models. Can't fully trust the information on Mr. Acres' site, even though it is a nice resource. Data straight from Homelite would be more trustworthy. Dewayne has provided some incredible literature without doubt, in addition to the parts he's made available for these wonderful saws.

Dan I have been kind of thinking about the histogram too, and have started to collect some of the Information too! It could be a fun project for the "House of Homelite" site to put one together, If someone took the lead, and then everyone fed the info and of course the source/ documentation to validate the histogram to that one person. Any interrested lead takers ?

Sounds like a great idea! I started one for the C series evolution through the 2100 series. Used Open Office to enter data and then generated a graph. Not sure all the dates are correct, but hopefully it's ballpark. Here's what the graph is looking like as of last fiddling with it: There's so many ways ya could look at this. One would be to show something like year by year what models were being sold. Another sorta like I started is to look at a series' evolution over time. Thought it'd be nice to embed images of models also.... so many fun things to try and so little time. Dan

Dan, Wow you are way ahead of me on your timeline. I will try and get mine together for the 330's and maybe you can add them, I agree it would be neat with pictures too!

Wish I could post the spreadsheet.... I can certainly email it if anybody wants to use this approach... Its easy to just add a row, enter a saw name, begin date, end date, and then let the tool generate the graph. Really want to add pics on the graph as well. Just need time to play. Right now gotta get back on the roof and do a little more patching before rain starts up again.
