I have a 650 and would like a 750. I'll have to wait until I find one that the owner doesn't know how much they sell for on Ebay. It seems the 650 is less common because buyers probably figured, "If I'm going this big, why not get the 750 ?"

There were 2 variations of the original 650, then the Super 650 and finally the 750. Lots of parts evolved over time adding improvements. The original 650 had only an auto oiler. It had an adjustable flow rate using a knob mounted on the fuel/oil tank top. The second gen. 650 added a manual thumb actuated oiler. Both "plain" 650s had 4 anti-vibe buffers. The Super 650 added a fifth anti-vibe. The crankshaft and bearing were beefier, but the carb, piston and cylinders were pretty much the same on all 650s. The 750 had a larger bore, and used a smaller carb. Still a mystery why a smaller venturi carb was put on the 750. Lots of parts were the same throughout the series like the ignition parts, but many parts were changed as well. The extra anti-vibe on the Super 650 and 750 means they have a different fuel tank and case housing than the previous 650s. Lots of little changes like the muffler bolt sizes were increased, the lower brace that was prone the breakage was changed at least twice, different variation of cranks, bearings, and even seals.
