It's been a while and I hope everyone is well.
I'm repairing a Super 2. I've replaced the oil lines, put a new duck bill valve and oil pick up in the oil tank. It ran fine without blowing oil for a few minutes and then started sucking it through the engine and out the muffler again.
I checked the duck bill valve and it's still in place.
Any suggestions on what to check next? Thanks.

I'm having a similar problem with my XL2 Auto. Changed duck bill valve, but too much oil is both coming out the muffler and fouling the plug.

Some of those saws have a diaphragm in the oiler system that may be cracked or have a hole in them letting oil into the engine. I usually just run the line directly to the tank and bypass the diaphragm. It oils just as well without it if your engine is good and tight.
