Yeah, dogs and chainsaws go together. Here's my Chew-wa-wa Tucker playing with a Titan 5200, he loves that saw, but always pissed on the David Bradley or that Stihl I had for a little while.

I was just looking at the last pic I posted of the old junkers. There are quite a few decent saws in there. I pulled one out tonight and one of my son's shot a video but it is not working.

I'll say there's quite a few decent saws there. I my opinion any complete saw has value. And any old saw complete or not is valuable. 'Old junkers' the nerve! Saws have feelings you know!

Here is a link to another saw I have lying around here. I dug it out and fired it up. It sure is not running all that well but heck not bad for something I have not touched in quite awhile. I know the critics will tearr me apart, no problem I have thick skin. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBZjduJttPEBill

Those S/D rotarys are super cool saws! That's the first video I've ever seen of one running. Just imagine what it could do with a sharp chain the CSW

Gotta love that rotary. They sound wild at idle, like a cammed small block on alky or something. ;D
Very nice, But too pricy for me.

Here is one of my red saws getting ready to cut back in Aug 06. Very nice bill.... very very nice! Maybe you or someone else could sum up all the variations of the 2000/2100 series. I know at least for the 2100 there were at least 3 models.... 1. 2100 2. 2100S 3. Super 2100 The Super 2100 had thin rings (same part number actually as a 750, but without the -A). I'm pretty sure the "S" in 2100S stood for "Standard". I'm also pretty sure one of these two had a Dykes ring and the other had 2 conventional "normal" thickness rings. I know there were different clutch splines on the crank, clutch covers, and a few variations of muffler shields. Also, pretty sure the 2000 had a one piece starter cover whereas the 2100 used a 2 piece where the actual starter cover part was shorter and the rear cover extended up to meet it. Just think it'd be interesting material to document all the variations within certain models. So many parts interchange and many times when ya find a saw, its already mixed with variaous parts that really don't belong. Dan

I just noticed I can't post the word "D" "y" "k" "e" "s". If I do its clipping it to d**es!!! I think this is the correct speeling and I guess its considered profanity or sumfin!

So many parts interchange and many times when ya find a saw, its already mixed with variaous parts that really don't belong. Dan Dan, You are correct on most points. I can go through a few things now and more later. Yes the 2000 had a 1 piece recoil cover whereas the 2100 was 2 piece. The 2000 clutch was not splined like the 2100. The 2100 and 2100S had .750 shoes and the Super 2100 had a optional .875 shoe. The Super 2100 was a thing ring. The 2100s was 2100 special. I can post pictures of variations, Bill

Dan, I found and fixed the problem with the words in the software, try again.
Bill, It should be illegal to terrorize a tiny limb with a saw that big, Talk about overkill. ;D
