the best thing to do is bring a non faded part of the saw to paint store and get it color matched. Or buy a closely resembled enamel spray paint from autozone. I get the high heat kind

The red paint used on all Homelite saws was supplied by two manufacturers that I know of: Martin Senour and DuPont. Martin Senour's "Homelite Red" is Crossfire #10742 DuPont"s "Homelite Red" is #2622A Centari Acrylic Enamel. I also have the Martin Senour number for the green metallic used on earlier saws but have been unable to determine the manufacturer and number for the blue metallic used on most models of Homelite saws that weren"t red. Any help in that respect would be greatly appreciated. Darrin of BigDMC.com (check out this website!) told me he uses PPG Omni AU MBC 13283A Strato Blue Poly but this is only a close match, not the real McCoy.

Could you tell if the manufacturer is listed on the can? Also, is it for sale? Thanks. Michael
